Assetminder, a sophisticated cloud-based fleet maintenance and workshop management system, has been running for some twenty years. Originally launched as Fleetminder, it has been adopted by over two hundred fleets and workshops throughout the UK and Ireland. It has clients across almost all the sectors that use goods and industrial vehicles, from general haulage, waste management and municipal fleets to agriculture. Assetminder won the prestigious Innovation Award at the Fleet Transport Awards in 2017.
Commercial and public sector haulage fleets rely heavily upon computer systems to maximise their efficiency and reduce waste. Vehicle downtime has to be reduced to an absolute minimum, and unnecessary mileage eliminated. But the software tools that can produce these results are not self-evidently valuable, and Assetminder needed to reach the widest possible audience.
Emarkable was commissioned by Assetminder to develop an integrated account-based management system.
The marketing department was to be completely outsourced, replacing the existing in-house marketing team.
The work involved included the development and management of Assetminder’s online platform, with content and social media marketing. There were video productions to back up the campaigns, which included product placement on Google and social media, and search engine optimisation. Marketing automation and customer relationship management, including interviews with clients, played an important part, requiring sales training and the development and training of a sales administration role.
We developed advanced Return on Investment analytics, and the initial result of the work carried out was a monthly return of ten qualified leads.
