Select Hotels is a collaboration of twenty hotels across Ireland, for which Emarkable devised and implemented a joint digital marketing strategy.

Tourism in Ireland is a successful and highly competitive industry.  Select Hotels have identified a niche in the market, centred on the fact that visitors to Ireland often wish to tour the island rather than staying in one particular location.  Select Hotels meets this need by offering discounts to tourists who stay in more than one of the hotels in the scheme, and by helping those visitors to plan their routes and the different packages on offer by means of a user friendly website.  The unique characteristics of each of the hotels are emphasised.

Emarkable worked with each hotel individually, helping and supporting them with their specific marketing requirements, and also with the group as a whole; the marketing strategy was focused on ‘repeat’ business, encouraging visitors to use more than one of the hotels in the scheme during their visit to Ireland.

Emarkable needed to target visitors not only from Ireland and the UK, but globally; in order to reach the widest possible audience we devised a combination of search engine optimisation, google AdWords, social media marketing and direct marketing through emails.  The packages and the tours on offer, all of which could be tailored to suit the individual needs and requirements of the client, formed the ‘backbone’ of the campaign, and clients were encouraged and assisted in their choices by means of local search facilities and carefully designed images.
