MSL Motor Group

The MSL Motor Group has been running since 1959 and is still a family-owned business, but on a larger scale; it has dealerships for Mercedes-Benz, Mazda and Skoda cars, and several showrooms, mainly in and around Dublin, but also in Cork.

Emarkable’s work for the MSL group focused heavily on Customer Relationship Management, and we redesigned their Emarketing system using our own marketing automation system.  Email marketing is the preferred strategy for MSL, and we worked on making it as streamlined, efficient and effective as possible.

MSL needed its Customer Relationship Management to prioritise the potential client’s requirements.  This would allow the sales representatives to focus on the subjects that interested the client, giving a personalised slant to the meeting from the outset, and ensuring that the client felt their needs were what guided the meeting, rather than the more conventional sale-oriented attitude. 

In addition to improving the relationship with the client, the streamlining of the sales process saves time and gives a good impression of efficiency and professionalism.

From the point of view of MSL, Emarkable’s CRM system has an effective lead management structure.  The sales team can use this to ensure that it is concentrating its efforts on the more likely leads rather than on those who have merely been browsing.

Analysis of sales campaigns is also useful.  Both success and failure can be examined, and future strategies and objectives planned more effectively.

In addition to the email marketing, Emarkable’s tracking of website visits also allows the sales team to engage with potential customers.  Details are recorded, stored, and, on follow-up visits, updated so MSL can be as certain as possible of engaging with the customer on the vehicles, models or services that are of interest.

Emarkable has saved MSL time, money and effort.  Their systems are now more efficient, client-focussed and generally streamlined.  Both sales and productivity have been improved.
