Enva

Enva is an environmental recycling and waste disposal company that was originally founded in Ireland, and has, over the years, assimilated other companies.  In the process, it has grown until it has become one of the largest companies of its kind in Ireland.

It has also extended its operations into the UK, and now has offices and bases all across England, Scotland and Ireland, including Northern Ireland.  It now has thirty-three facilities and fifteen hundred employees.

Whilst this is in many ways a success story, it has brought with it a problem.  Clients of Enva itself, or of one or other of the companies which now come under its umbrella operations, are aware of the services that were on offer when they first contracted for that service, but do not necessarily know of the other services that Enva is now in a position to provide.

Emarkable has been commissioned to develop a communications strategy to reach out to existing clients and prospective clients to build awareness of their broader range of services, and to cross-sell and upsell new services to new and existing customers. Following research and the development of a comprehensive strategy we replaced the existing website, and launched with the new website an inbound marketing campaign that informed the client base of the range of services now available to Enva customers.

Most of the research that Emarkable carried out for the project involved gathering content from Enva itself, and working with several members of the Enva team to ensure that we were describing the services fully and accurately, as well as targeting the right customers with the right messages.

In particular, Enva wanted Emarkable to target the UK and Northern Ireland, where growth had been slow, and there was very low awareness of the Enva brand.  Enva is operating in a competitive and niche market, with very specialised services, and there is a need to create and expand awareness of their services.

Enva.com makes the Enva services and products available to clients on a simple and easily managed basis, but those clients needed to be made aware of Enva as an international brand, with distributors as well as consumers throughout the UK and Ireland.  This is a very competitive market, but Enva offers a unique product in its range of services, allowing clients to manage all its recycling and waste management activities under one sub-contractor; Enva. 

Because the competition is fierce and powerful,  Enva needs to promote itself as a champion of environmental progress clearly and emphatically and establish trust with some of the biggest clients in the market. 

Emarkable has worked with Enva on positioning the company and personnel as thought leaders in this space. 

This is a campaign which is likely to run into the future, as Enva continues to extend and expand its services.
