Emarkable at Food and Drink 2016

Emarkable exhibited at and assisted with the Food and  Drink event in City West on the 14th of September

It’s a common misconception that Inbound  Marketing is just about online activity – emails, social media, digital advertising.

This is why Emarkable gets involved in as many of the wonderful events organised by Premier Publishing as possible. Wednesday 14th of September was the day of one of Ireland’s biggest food industry events on the calendar: The Food and Drink Conference in City West.

Team Emarkable was stationed in the Exhibitor’s hall among some intriguing food businesses and wonderful service providers. Throughout the day we met some exceptional people with amazing ideas, be they start up entrepreneurs or firmly established business professionals.

As well as this, Richard spoke at the Marketing and Branding seminar room 3. Richard an industry expert was happy to share his knowledge, proving how Marketing Automation can benefit food businesses. This is a topic that is growing in popularity as the impact of email in marketing becomes more astute.img_20160916_081625

The biggest challenge of the day, however, was manning @FoodDrinkEvent, the event’s Twitter account. Claire from Emarkable took the helm, meeting and tweeting some of the most interesting exhibitors on the day, sharing the sage words of the speakers on the main stage and live tweeting the Lion’s Den, in which three Irish businesses pitched their businesses to win €5000. As well as this she stayed on top of the tweets coming through the #FoodDrink16 hashtag and interacted with attendees via Twitter throughout the day. Claire’s efforts paid off as the event trended on Twitter for the entire day, drawing the attention of food businesses and service providers, with whom the event organisers can now build a relationship and get on board for next year.
