I’ll be honest with you sometimes its hard to filter the “digital noise” you hear everyday. Afraid of missing out on news and that latest thing in the world of digital, means we subscribe and get a lot more emails than is healthy.  We have become pretty good at filtering out the “good stuff” and this is what this post is here to do – share this good stuff with you.

Here’s our top five:

They craft their content for three audiences – Sales, Marketing or Agency. Their blogs are crammed full of useful topics and have many guides and tutorials on various subjects that are easy to digest and provide useful actionable insights.

It’s packed full of useful blog posts on how to handle every element of your SEO strategy and practice – covering the technical issues like how to overcome duplicate content issues to communication tactics like content strategy and relationship building.  Our favourite thing about Moz Blog is that it helps you keep track and understand the mechanics behind the latest SEO updates. SEO can be a minefield for some businesses but this provides clarity and lots of content on dealing with every aspect.

Hootsuite is a social media management system and brand monitoring tool. It helps you keep track and manage your many social network channels. It can enables you to monitor what people are saying about your brand and help you respond instantly. It provides powerful insights right across all social media platforms and have many other apps that can be connected to it so it really does give an overall view of all your marketing channels. The Hootsuite blog is a source to gain valuable strategy, skills, trends, and insight on social media marketing. It has become an ingrained tool which we use everyday in our business.

 

5. Copyblogger
Copyblogger started as a simple one-man blog. Today, Copyblogger Media is a digital commerce company with more than 185,000 unique customers — and it’s all done with useful content, smart copywriting, and exceptional products and services. For anyone with content marketing as part of their strategy, this is a great resource and provides a wealth of information on how to develop content and improve writing skills.
