LinkedIn introduces new Showcase Pages
LinkedIn Showcase Pages are a new tool for highlighting different aspects of your brand, business unit or initiative, which allows you to flourish your business by building relationships with the community.
LinkedIn Showcase Pages also now make it possible for you to to promote specific brands or products to a targeted audience.
This, in turn, allows LinkedIn users to stay up to date with the updates of certain content, without being obliged to follow every one of the companies ‘Showcase Pages’.
Visually, showcase pages appear very differently to the other LinkedIn pages with a number of key differences:
- Showcase Pages feature a larger central image
- Businesses can now advertise and even buy sponsored updates
- There are no products, careers or service tab sections at the top of the page
- Unlike regular LinkedIn pages, Showcase Pages have a two-column layout similar to a newspaper for richer content
All Showcase Pages will link directly back tot he business page – meaning that all of your Showcase Pages are focused entirely on your company
Interact with Showcase Pages
As these pages are designed to be all about content, you can quickly get updated with the latest information from the company just by rapidly visiting the page. Similar to any other Company Page on LinkedIn, if you want to receive more future updates from the company, you can just click on the “Follow” button – which will push new updates directly to your feed.

Many huge multinational companies have already implemented Showcase Pages for their marketing strategy, with Microsoft, Cisco and Adobe creating Showcase Pages which already have in excess of 10,000 followers. For these large companies, the new feature will prove particularly useful as it will allow them to transmit information directly to their followers in a far more concise and specific way than previous LinkedIn features.
All in all, the new Showcase Pages are a fantastic tool for allowing your company or brand to target information directly to certain followers, and, unsurprisingly, are a brilliant method through which to showcase certain features of your company or brand to interested parties.”
